Septic Tank Services

Septic tank cleaning and pumping is one of the primary services we offer here at Clearwater Septic & Pumping. Getting your tank pumped regularly can not only help you extend your septic system’s lifespan, saving you money, but it can also help you avoid inconveniences as well as health risks caused by leaks, blockages, and backups – and the waste drainage that often results.

A typical residential septic system should be pumped at least every 3 years, but special circumstances may make more frequent pumping be a worthwhile consideration. Such situations include recent flooding as well as upcoming increased usage, but having an older water softener system or regularly using your garbage disposal are also contributing factors.

Sump Pump Services

While we don’t install septic tanks here at Clearwater Septic & Pumping, we do both install and repair sump pumps. Our certified and experienced technicians can help ensure that your sump pump is properly installed and operating efficiently, helping you avoid costly repairs and property damage. By making sure that your sump pump is properly maintained, you can keep your basement dry and free from water damage.

How do you know if your sump pump needs attention? One tell-tale sign is that it has a valve that’s stuck while the pump continues to run or a jammed float valve. Another issue that should cause you to call for help is if the pump seems to be working but you see no water in the sump pit. As with many household maintenance tasks, a little attention now can mean saving a lot of frustration (and expense) later on.

Lift Pump Services

In addition to servicing septic tanks and sump pumps, Clearwater Septic & Pumping also offers lift pump services. How do you know if your lift pump needs attention? You’ll smell it. And it won’t be sweet. If you notice foul-smelling odors permeating your home, you should call someone right away! (And of course, we’d love to be that “someone.”) Our septic experts will be able to investigate the problem and perform the repairs needed to keep the problem from recurring.

While a noticeable odor is, by far, the most obvious sign that your lift pump needs attention, there are a few other warning signs to look for, too. If you notice standing water in a bathtub, sink, or drain or water backup or slow pipe drainage, you should definitely get your lift pump looked at before the problem becomes more significant.
