Share Virtual Manufacturer Samples on Flash Drives

Last updated on July 16, 2010 by Sozo Staff Leave a Comment

Many companies develop ways to attract prospective customers or even current customers to purchase their products. Many manufacturing companies choose to send out samples of some of their products. Other companies choose to send out thick ordering books. Some companies choose to do both.

A steel or heavy metal factory whose products weigh a considerable amount each would probably have a decent sum to pay in postage to ship the product. The company would also have to pay workers to assemble the products, package them, and prepare them for shipment. While all of these methods may indeed pull in a few customers, it may end up being wasted products and money. The customer may not necessarily want a sample of the particular product that you sent. They may have wanted to view another product rather. They may also not want the product in the particular color or size that you have sent. The sample most likely will end up on a shelf somewhere or in the garbage. Sending out heavy, costly samples is a risky plan for some companies.

However, companies have another option that will allow their customers to view pictures, specifications, and prices of each of their products. CFgear can preload bulk flash drives with all of the company’s offerings organized professionally. Upon plugging the flash drive into a USB drive, Instarun technology displays a pop up of the company’s name, logo, and even a picture. On the side will be links to certain products. Within each link, the product will be explained, offered colors will be shown, and prices will be listed.

Depending on the storage size of the flash drive, CFgear could even preload pictures or videos of the product in use. Usually a picture or video can ensure that the customer knows exactly what they are purchasing. Using Pulse preloading technology, CFgear will guarantee that all of the data is effectively loaded onto all of the purchased flash drives. There are even options to prevent the recipient of the flash drive from erasing the data. While the company may not want the recipient to erase the data, it may also be important to allow the recipient to add to the flash drive. The company may offer links on the flash drive in which the customer could open up an ordering form, type in their desired order, and submit it.

The exterior of the flash drive will also be impressive to the customers. CFgear can custom create a flash drive made out of plastic, wood, metal, or even leather in up to four different colors. The company’s name and logo can even be laser engraved or printed onto the flash drive using Pantone technology, which ensures the exact logo colors.

The CFgear flash drive can arrive to the company’s customers in a variety of packaging options. The “Rin Tin” tin boxes offer an industrial look that will ensure the flash drive arrives safely. There are also boxes made from bamboo, plywood, recycled metal, and fiber board. The manufacturing company can also customize a box that displays the company’s name and information.

The company will save money by not custom assembling samples that will most likely not be used and also by not paying high shipping costs. A flash drive is a lightweight, easily transportable option for manufacturing companies that wish to inform prospective customers of all that their company has to offer. With all of the many customizable options available, they will also impress their prospective customers with a CFgear flash drive that is professional, functional, and not easily forgotten. After seeing all of the options on the flash drive, the customer may then decide to have a sample of a product in a particular color, shape, size, etc. sent to them.
