Smart Stores Increase Sales with Giveaway Branded Flash Drives

Last updated on August 10, 2010 by Sozo Staff Leave a Comment

We all love to get items at discounts and even bonus, free items. As I am scouring through my many spam e-mails from Boscov’s, JcPenney’s, Kohl’s, Bath and Body Works, and Coldstone, I usually read the first couple words of the subject before actually opening the e-mail. If the words include free, discount, bonus, or 20% off, then I will open the e-mail to read it. Sometimes I find good deals and coupons. Other times, I am disappointed to read that it is a free lotion with the purchase of 3 at regular price.

However, one thing that I know for sure, if the e-mail subject doesn’t immediately grab my attention with an offer, I simply delete and move on. I have saved a lot of money in discounts and gotten a good many free items over the years. I have found that even if you have to spend a certain amount to get the free item, I have no trouble purchasing several other things.

If businesses want to get customers in their store and filling their shopping carts up, then they have to have a discount or free item to grab their attention. The normal free items are like a turkey platter, a candle, a lotion, a shirt, etc. While these items could possibly have a use, they are usually over used in the advertising world.

If a company wants to have an unrivaled free product, then they must be aware of the current technology and wants of their customers. A customer may or may not spend $25 to get a free gravy bowl. In fact, they probably have one just like it from last year’s promotions.

However, throw in a piece of technology that they will actually use day to day, and they will have no problem spending some money. Department stores and even technology stores such as Staples or Office Max would definitely see an increase in sales if they were to give away a customized flash drive for every $50.00 or other set amount spent.

A flash drive is something that everyone with a computer can find a use for. A mom with 5 kids can create a calender on a flash drive with an organization system of all the events she must attend. A teacher can use the drive to bring work home. A dad can use the drive to organize plays for his kid’s football team. A grandma can use it to save hundreds of pictures of her new grandchild. A teenager can use it to store hundreds of minutes of songs. The possibilities for using a flash drive are endless. It will become something that you can’t live without.

CFgear will custom create bulk numbers of flash drives for your store’s needs. The flash drives can be the color that is recognized with your store. They can even use patented color match technology to make sure the color is perfect on certain flash drive models. Your store’s logo and name can be laser engraved or printed onto the flash drive. They come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

The key to getting consumers to spend is to offer them deals and give away items that they can’t resist. Get them into the store and they will find that your store has a lot more to offer them than they thought. Let CFgear create bulk flash drives that will bring business into your store. But be sure to order plenty of them. Because when customers start telling their friends and family members about the quality, professional looking flash drive they just got at Staples, you can guarantee they will go quickly.
