Among the five Custom Collections which Rehmeyer offers, three exhibit various degrees of distressing. The crème-de-la-crème is our Authentic Hand-Scraped Collection. Using no power tools whatsoever, each board passes through the real hands of real skilled craftsmen several times before they meet our high standards of excellence.
Like our Authentic Hand-Scraped Collection, our Old Trail Collection involves the application of an Accent Color which will serve to complement the character markings and natural grain of the wood. Our Old Trail Collection flooring appears to be worn, yet remains plumb.
Our Legacy Collection also includes pre-staining with an Accent Color, along with a variety of distressing techniques to achieve both the look and feel of a time-worn floor.

By “Extreme Custom,” we mean just that: it’s custom, to the extreme! No options, no limitations. While we offer a few ideas of particularly dramatic species and combinations others have dreamed up, we’re glad to make your own ideas a reality.
