With nearly 30 years experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and certification from the Prestigious Cooper Institute in Dallas, Texas (the gold standard in personal training schools), I have the experience and knowledge to take you from your current wellness level and increase it to levels you may only have dreamed about. I began training people in gyms in the early 1980’s and was Fitness Instructor for the Harford County Sheriff’s Dept. for the last 8 years before I retired several years ago. I won an award as Harford County Government’s healthiest employee and was acknowledged as the fittest employee at the HCDC even though most competitors were half my age! I know how to do it, I can help you can get there too!
Because of my fitness level, I rarely need to see a doctor which results in lower health care costs. I have a significantly lower life insurance premium because I qualified for special low rates for superior health – I had to take a physical they designed! I offer training at my own in-home gym located in Forest Hills, Maryland, where you can train alone, train with a friend or two, or train with a group pursuing similar goals. I also offer consultations to help improve your current training regiments. All training with me is conducted following an initial consultation where you complete health and medical screening to determine whether it is safe for you to begin an exercise program (a doctor’s exam is always a good idea). After that, I will ask you some questions to determine what we are trying to accomplish, and we will determine where you are physically, so I can prepare a training routine designed around you and your needs based on your current abilities. Then I will train you safely and effectively to help you reach your goals while improving your health and wellness simultaneously.
