Effective Business Promotions With Useful Flash Drives

Has it seemed that lately your business has seen fewer new customers and even less devotion from your regulars? Perhaps you blame the bad economy for your lack of customers. However, it could be that your customers are looking for something new and exciting to draw them back into your store.

If you have ran the same old “buy one, get one free” deal for the past few months and are seeing less success with it, perhaps it is time to create a new plan.

You need to find a way to wow a majority of your customers. That’s right, a majority. Many businesses make the mistake of creating contests in which 1 or maybe even 2 or 3 customers are the “grand prize winners” of perhaps a Nintendo Wii or a new Sony camera, costing $250 each. While these promotions do draw in customers initially, think of the hundreds of disappointed customers you will have after the contest.

How can you give away small prizes to a majority of your customers, without breaking the bank? Well, first off, you need to think of a “small” prize that isn’t that awful expensive (I’m thinking $10 or less per person). Well, let’s think of what could fit in that category. Perhaps you could give them a magnet or a keychain. Maybe you could have a hat customized or even a t-shirt. While these ideas aren’t necessarily bad, you need to consider the customers’ potential for use. By this, I mean how many customers are actually going to wear your hat or t-shirt in public? In all likelihood, it will become a night shirt.

So, when thinking of the item, try to consider something that has the potential for daily usage. If you are racking your brain for ideas, consider this: bulk CFgear flash drives can be purchased for a reasonable price and can be used by just about everyone. So, now that you have chosen your item, how are you going to design it? Yes, design it. You can’t simply hand out a boring, plain, generic flash drive and expect your customers to be wowed. While the plain flash drive will still offer the same functions, you want something that reminds your customers of your store each and every time they use it.

For the $500 that you spent on the gaming console and camera that satisfied just TWO of your customers, you have now satisfied 50 (if each flash drive costs $10). If you are looking for a promotion to draw in customers, a flash drive is sure to please not only your customers, but also your wallet.
