Cheap College Credits

Last updated on January 12, 2012 by Sozo Staff Leave a Comment

If you’re still a high school student, there are a number of ways you can earn college credits towards your degree right now without paying full price for tuition. One such way, which is extremely popular, is taking AP credits.

AP (or Advanced Placement) classes are offered to high school students in a variety of subjects and count for high school credits towards graduation. At the end of the class, you pay a small fee (usually under $100) to take the subject exam, and, depending on your score, you can earn credits towards your degree in college.

Most colleges require a 3 or 4 (out of 5) in order to earn credit towards the comparable class offered at their school, so a great deal of studying is usually necessary, but most students find that the credits they earn are well worth the extra time they’ve spent studying. With most colleges charging thousands per class, AP credits are an extremely cost-efficient way to earn credits towards your degree.
