Applications for Perforated Metals in the Kitchen

To develop the perfect meal, certain instruments, utensils, pots, and pans must be used. With many options available in the cooking industry, why not try perforated metal pans? They are unique and custom designed to fit the needs of an individual in the kitchen to the gourmet chef at a famous restaurant.

Imagine the perfect pizza pan. It has holes punched through the metal to allow for airflow to evenly cook the crust of the pizza while making the pepperonis, mushrooms, and other ingredients crisp on top. Hendrick, a leading manufacturer in perforated metal products, can create just the pizza pan. The size of the holes can be specified by the culinary customer, along with the design.

Now imagine creating the perfect pasta dish. This usually involves the pan that the water and pasta is boiled in, along with a strainer. Usually the plastic strainers don’t withstand the force of the boiling water and pasta being dumped into it. It can tip over and spill all of the perfectly cooked angel hair pasta into your kitchen sink. Or worse, the strainer holes are not the proper size, allowing water and the pasta to slide through the openings right down your kitchen drain.

Hendrick can create a pasta or stock pot with a built-in perforated metal strainer. The holes of the strainer can be custom sized as small as 0.010″. With holes this small, you will never have to worry about your pasta slipping down the drain. The holes can also be designed and placed a specific distance apart, according to the customer specifications.

What happens if you boil your rice in just a little too much water? You could try to use a plastic strainer, but most of the rice would slip though into the sink. You could try to use a plastic or silicon slotted spoon. However, the slots are usually too large and also let the rice slip through. But by consulting with one of Hendrick’s customer service representatives, you could custom create the perfect perforated metal spoon. The holes could be perforated small enough to hold the rice, yet large enough to pass the excess water through.

From pizza to rice, Hendrick can provide solutions for all of your culinary needs. They can create fruit and vegetable trays, pizza pans, stock pans, and even the perfect spoon. They could also custom create coffee screens, tea sifters, and crushing machines.
